Classic Vase
I was reading up on early American art and taking a look at the general style of the time. I liked what I saw so I did something about it.
This is what I did.


Here is the finished vase. I'm still amazed it made it through the Raku firing process with its slender ceramic stem in tact. Usually when pottery gos from 1800 to 72 degrees in an instant the temperature shock destroys it. Not this one. It is beautiful.
